The Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the parish will take place on Sunday 1 November at 10:45 AM in the parish hall. All parishioners are invited to attend. Only parishioners are eligible to vote at the AGM or stand for election to parish offices; therefore, we remind everyone to pay their membership dues.
On Wednesday 14 October, the Feast of the Protection of the Most Holy Theotokos, the patronal feast day will be celebrated at the cathedral in Melbourne. All our parishioners are invited to attend the patronal feast; there will be no services at our church on that day. However, Vigil will be held here on the eve of the feast.
Some parishioners prefer tear-off calendars. Unfortunately, shipping costs have become so high that they exceed the price of the calendars themselves. Those wishing to purchase tear-off calendars for 2027 should place their orders with the parish starosta by October 31; this will allow us to order exactly the number required by our parishioners. Other (wall) calendars will be ordered separately, and there is no need to pre-order them.
The next services at our church are as follows:
Tuesday 13 October at 6:00 PM: Vigil.
Saturday 17 October at 6:00 PM: All-Night Vigil.
Sunday 18 October at 8:30 AM: Liturgy. |
